Learn about me!

Hey, y'all! Thanks for checking out my blog. You must be on this page to hear a little more about me. Well here goes...

I was born and raised in a city in deep south Texas: Corpus Christi. It's where I grew up, and where I still reside today!

The beginning of high school brought many changes-- loss of friends and the gaining of many others. I wasn't your typical kid- I was homeschooled my whole life. The homeschool community that I was raised in is a pretty big one with many activities: drama club and ballroom dance class and beach parties and flash mobs and even prom. It was during these homeschool activities that I met my husband, my sweet high school sweetheart Elijah!

The most important part of knowing me is to know that I believe with my whole self in Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord. I believe that everything in this life happens for a reason, and that He created me to do wonderful things for Him and to bring Him glory. I mess up more than half the time because I am human of course, but I believe in his grace and mercy to get me through every day.

I graduated high school in 2016 and started trying a bunch of different things. This included traveling and school and trying a bunch of different jobs to see where I fit best. We're still working on that one haha. Right now, I work as a barista at a local coffee shop, while doing photography on the side cuz I love it so much! I've recently discovered a load of new hobbies, including videography, graphic designing, cooking and thrifting. Of course, I have my go-tos of listening to music in the car and watching Netflix.

In January of 2020, I married my high school sweetheart and we've been living our best lives. Lots of laughter and figuring out how marriage because it's still a new thing for us! But he's my very best friend and I'm so glad I get to do life with this man.
